We have so much to report from the world of fundraising, it will be hard to fit it all in! Our fundraising community have been smashing it out of the park with taking on running challenges, climbing mountains, selling sunflowers and sending smiles around the world. Let's take a look at what all our fabulous fundraisers have been up to.

Henry's smile

A huge MPS Society thank you to Sophie, James, and Henry, family and friends for continuing to send Henry's Smile around the world and smashing your £5,000 target reaching an epic £6,872 to date! For those of you who don't know, these are badges that can be bought for a small donation. The family has been asking people to take photos with them and post on social media. To find out more, head to their fundraising page.

We still have funds due to go in very soon. We did a big sponsored walk at the weekend which was a great success. We are not stopping here! We will keep adding as much as we can. I still have buckets to collect from my mum’s salon, my partners gym, funds from the sponsored walk.

Thank you so much to you all for spreading vital funds and awareness for the MPS Society in honour of Henry. We are so inspired by your sheer grit and determination. Good luck for the next part of this incredible crusade!

Inner Wheel Club of Clevedon

A huge thank you to the Inner Wheel Club of Clevedon for having us as your charity of the year and donating £2,500 for families and individuals affected by MPS, Fabry, and related conditions. A special thanks goes to Sheena Bagnall grandmother of Ada and Eliza, who kindly received the cheque for us last week. Ada has an MPS condition, and is supported by our advocacy team. Sadly, the Inner Wheel is closing this year so we wish you all the best of luck in the future and thank you for being such a great support to us over the years.

24-hour Golf Marathon for Luke

Thank you so much to Mark, Jamie, Dean and William for holding a golf marathon in memory of Luke, Mark's nephew, who had an MPS condition. After reassuring the police they were in fact allowed to be on the course, the local bobbies got involved and even helped tee-off, as well as enjoying a ride on the golf buggy!

This amazing group of golfers raised a magnificent £1,776! This means they will be helping over 8 families and individuals for a year receive support and care. Mark said:

I have lost a nephew to the condition and the support received we cannot thank you enough for, so I wanted to do something to say thank you.

Thank you so much to you all for taking on this challenge, creating bespoke t-shirts, and raising vital funds and awareness for the MPS Society. We are so grateful for all your time and effort.
