Weekly Lucky Lottery

The MPS Society Weekly Lucky Lottery is a way to raise funds to support families affected by MPS, Fabry or a related lysosomal disease.

You will receive a 6-digit lottery number when you enter. Every Friday you will be entered into the draw. The winning numbers are chosen at random.

Tickets are £1 per ticket per week. You can have up to 10 chances per draw, giving you even more chances to win one of our fantastic prizes.

Once the draw has taken place, winners are notified by email or post.

If you match 4 digits or more, you will be sent your winnings automatically, either directly into your bank (if playing by Direct Debit), or via a cheque sent in the post.

If you match 3 digits, you will be sent an email to confirm your win and your temporary 5 prize entry lottery numbers for the following week's draw.

Every Friday, a winning number is drawn at random. Players must match the digits to win up to £25,000! Unity Lotteries generate a random 6-digit winning number sequence and if the player’s digits are in same positions as the digits in the winning number sequence, you win a prize.

For example, if the winning number sequence were 123456, the lottery number 163057 would be a 3- digit winning match; because 3 digits are positioned in the same place in the sequence meaning they would have 5 entries into the next draw!

3 digit match = 5 entries into the next draw
4 digit match = £25
5 digit match = £1,000
6 digit match = £25,000

The Weekly Lucky Lottery is a fixed odds, number match game, this means that every entry has an equal chance of winning, no matter which lottery they are playing. Each £1 entry has a 1 in 63 chance of winning one of the prizes.

Yes, every £1 entry has an equal chance of winning and the winning numbers will be drawn by Sterling/Unity Lotteries head office, using an industry standard ‘random number generator’. We have a lottery license and regularly keep up to date with rules and regulations from the Gambling Commission website.

Direct Debit is a fixed payment of £4.34 to cover the months where there are 5 weeks.

We use an external lottery company called Sterling Lotteries who organise and manage the lottery. They take a percentage from what our supporters pay to enter the lottery. For each £1 we raise through the weekly lottery, the charity receives 50p (50%). The remaining amount is used to cover the prizes offered (18.4%) and administration costs (31.6%).

When players win a prize, this is covered by the Unity prize pot. This means that charities using Unity for their fundraising lotteries can offer a £25,000 jackpot and smaller prizes to their players.
