Great Scottish Run
We say a big thank you to Nicola, Heather, Ange and Lynsey for completing the Great Scottish 10k and Fin for the Half Marathon. Together they raised over £1400 for our MPS families and individuals. The girls amount was kindly matched funded so we were able to receive the same amount again! Thank you Nicola for organising that and thank you so much to you all for raising vital funds and awareness. You are true MPS superheroes!

Westminster Mile
Thank you to Pauline, Barrie, Harry and James for taking on the Westminster Mile last month to raise money for Fabry research. They raised over £1400 in honour of her Grandson and Granddaughter and their Mum who are all affected by the condition. A big thank you to the Hare and Hounds at Birch for collecting funds at their pub towards this fantastic amount
Pauline said:
I would like what we raise to go towards research for Fabry disease, as I would like to see my grandson to eventually be able to lead a life with less infusions, that's my aim.
Thank you so much to the Marshall family for all your efforts and for raising vital awareness and funds.
A big thank you to:
The Towersey Horseshoe Morris who donated £500 from their summer series events.
Leighton-Linsdale Carnival who granted Emily their chosen Carnival Princess to receive a grant of £75. She donated it to the MPS Society as her Mum she has Fabry.
Churchill Academy who donated £200 in memory of Rosemary whose daughter Elaine, donated her beloved fabrics to the school so that they could use them and be inspired. Rosemary knew one of our young MPS members very well so donating to us is something she would have been very happy with.
Lynn who raised over £180 for her birthday to be put towards Fabry research.
Coming up - the Big Give Christmas Challenge
We are so excited to be joining the Big Give Christmas Challenge once again this year, with the phenomenal chance to raise £25,000 for the MPS Society! Every pound will help us create cherished family events throughout 2026. We need your help when donations open at 12 midday on Tuesday 2 December until 12 midday on Tuesday 9 December. Even better, they will be DOUBLED as long as matched funds last. That’s twice the impact, twice the joy – the magic of giving!
Christmas Carol Concert
You are warmly invited to an evening of carols and festive cheer in support of the MPS Society hosted by talented actor Robert Wilfort, known for his roles in Gavin and Stacey, Harry Potter and The Huntsman. We are also thrilled to welcome talented young performers from PQA Aylesbury and Streetlights, Chesham’s very own premier faith band, which will be lighting up the stage.

Our new Christmas card designs have dropped! Check them out in our online shop. All donations go towards helping to support and care for our families and individuals affected by MPS, Fabry, and related conditions. Thank you!
