Spring is in the air! With a glimpse of sunshine and the smell of blossom, our amazing fundraisers have been coming out in force to tread the streets up and down the UK to race for rare! Lets have a look at what they have been up to.

London Landmarks Half Marathon

A huge MPS Society thank you to our #teamMPS LLHM runners Helen C, Helen L, Lianne, Michael, Alison, Frances, Morgan, Fiona, Sandra and Nicola who ran to glory raising an incredible £7,220! Thank you for all your time and effort.

Manchester Marathon

Thank you to Harry and Martha who took on the Manchester Marathon raising over £4,000 between them! Harry was racing for his Mum and brother who have Fabry disease and Martha in memory of her cousin Isaac. We can't thank you enough for you sheer strength and determination.

Scafell Pike Hike

Thank you to Louis and all his friends who took on the Scafell Pike last weekend. They raised a fantastic £450 inspired by the work his partner does in supporting children with their weekly infusions at home.

Lincoln Town 10k

A big MPS Society thank you to Adam who took on the Lincoln Town 10k in memory of Noah. He raised an amazing £683 including gift aid! Thank you so much Adam for all your efforts, we are so grateful for your support.

A big thank you to:

  • Lloyds Clinical Homecare who raised a fantastic £531 for their Rare Disease Day fundraiser in memory of Caleb.

  • Everyone who donated at Chesham United Football Club. We raised an amazing £575 thank you!

Step into Spring

You smashed it! Well done to all our Step into Spring team who walked, jogged, ran, cycled or swam 31 miles this March to raise an epic £2,448 for families and individuals affected by MPS, Fabry and related conditions!

MPS Awareness Week

One month to go until MPS Awareness Week! This is the perfect time to plan your Wear it Blue event. Whether you host a bake for rare sale at your school, encourage colleagues to wear blue at work or organise a fundraiser with your community group, you can help raise vital awareness and funds to support people and families living with MPS and related conditions.
