The Big Give Christmas Challenge

You smashed it!

Thanks to you it's been our biggest and best ever Big Give Christmas Challenge. We are lost for words as you have not only smashed our initial target of £25,000 but simply did it again a second time hitting well-over £30,000. In only one week, you raised an unbelievable total of £32,025! These funds will go towards funding our amazing family events over 2025.

We are so very grateful to each and every one of you and cannot wait to share more about our upcoming community events for which you have been tirelessly fundraising. Thanks in particular to our champion, The Reed Foundation, to all our pledgers, and to everyone who shared our Big Give Christmas Challenge stories and posts far and wide. We couldn't have achieved any of this without you!

The difference you are making

Nadine, mum to Jack who has MPS, told us about joining the Legoland family fun day this summer:

These outings allow us to have special days together as a family, creating memories away from the stresses of daily life.

For Ria, the annual Weekend of Hope and Remembrance in September has been a great source of comfort and support, she said:

Being surrounded by others who truly understand the weight of our loss is both comforting and liberating.

Sally reflects on the significance of our events for families living a rare life:

We are always striving to provide the something-to-look-forward-to moments for a community that experiences difficulties which go way beyond what some of us can imagine.

Daniella joined our last conference in 2019 and commented:

It’s vital for all the families to get together, share their issues and problems, let their troubles go, enjoy the children going out on the excursions. Families can kick back and get some really important information, chill out a little bit and enjoy the weekend.
